課程概述 |
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to leisure agriculture. The classes combine lectures by the instructor and invited speakers to explore and understand the background, theory, practice, challenges and potential of leisure agriculture in Taiwan as well as around the world. The structure of this course is organized into three sections of lectures: 1. The background and practice of leisure agriculture; 2. Planning, operation and management of leisure agriculture; 3. The challenges and potential of leisure agriculture. |

課程目標 |
Throughout the semester, students will be guided to learn, think, and build the linkages between leisure agriculture and the important economic, social and environmental issues, such as natural resources, rural restructuring and local community, consumer behavior, culture and heritage. |
|
課程要求 |
There will be a midterm exam and a final exam for this course. The exams will consist of mainly essay questions. Several homework assignments will be distributed during the semester. Your attendance and class participation will also be taken into account in your grade. |
